This Second Contract Amendment to Bid Item 18-179, Asbestos Abatement and Window
Remov I for Hang iOne hereinafter designated as the "Contract") made and entered into as of this
of - Z 2018, by and between the Augusta Aviation Commission for the
Augusta Regional Airp rt, (hereinafter designated as "Airport") and Chaplin and Sons Clearing and
Demolition, Inc. (hereinafter designated as "Contractor"), a Georgia corporation, whose address is 1281
New Savannah Road, Augusta, GA 30901.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, on May 24, 2018, the parties entered into a contract for the provision of Asbestos
Abatement and Window Removal for Hangar One at the Airport; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to amend the contract to add an additional scope of work to perform
interior demolition of bathroom toilets and floor tiles; and
WHEREAS, the parties have agreed upon the additional scope of work and costs to perform the
work.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, promises, and agreements herein
contained in this First Contract Amendment, the Airport and Contractor hereby agree as follows:
1.
Article 1, Scope of Work and Attachment A are hereby amended to reflect the revised scope of work. The
revised attached hereto as an amendment to Attachment A.
2.
Article 2 Time, Term And Payment, subsection 2.2 Contract Price, is hereby amended to add the cost for
the additional scope of work in the amount of four thousand two hundred and fifty dollars($4,250.00).
The new contract price is Thirty-two thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars($32,750.00).
3.
Accept as amended herein all other terms and conditions of the Contract shall remain the same.

General Notes
1. Chaplin and Sons retains any demolition salvage and/or scrap
The protect shall be completed following all guidelines per local.state and federal regulations.Chaplin and Sons
Clearing and Demolition shall provide all materials,labor and disposal of waste needed to start and finish the job.
This bid will expire in thirty days after received it not put into contract following review.All work to be supervised
by an OSHA competent and a AESHAP EPA/AHERA/ASHARA(TSCA Title 2)accredited supervisor
