HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7610 TO CHANGE THE ZONING FROM ZONE R-1C TO ZONE P-1 AFFECTING PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEASTERN CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF EVE STREET AND HICKS STREET ORDINANCE NO.1 LQ 10 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta, Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-1C(One-family Residential)to Zone P-1 (Professional)affecting property located at the northeastern corner of the intersection of Eve Street and Hicks Street,being the point of beginning; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map by changing the zoning from Zone R-1C(One- family Residential)to Zone P-1 (Professional)as follows: Beginning at a point located at the northeastern corner of the intersection of Eve Street and Hicks Street, being the point of beginning; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the northeastern right-of-way of Hicks Street a distance of 36 feet,more or less, to a point;thence,in a northeasterly direction a distance of 87.0 feet to a point;thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 36 feet,more or less,to a point;thence, in a southerly direction along the eastern right-of-way line of Eve Street a distance of 87.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains 0.07 acres and is known as 410 Eve Street. Tax Map 035-2-331-00-0 Z-18-20 i SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta, Georgia is subject to the following stipulations: 1. Customer visitations must be appointment-based, and meals shall not be available for on-premise consumption. 2. No classes, other than those for children are permitted on the premises. 3. Off-street loading shall be conducted within the site,and is prohibited in any adjoining ROW. 4. Outdoor storage shall be prohibited with exception given to waste-handling containers,which shall be county-issued, and limited to a maximum of 4 containers. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
