AMEND THE 2018 REYNOLDS STREET PARKING DECK ANNUAL PLAN
THIS RESOLUTION, adopted by the Augusta-Richmond County Commission
("Commission");
WHEREAS, Augusta Riverfront, LLC is the manager (the "Manager") of the Reynolds
Street Parking Deck (the "Deck"); and
WHEREAS, the Manager is required to submit an Annual Plan for the management and
operation of the Deck(the "Annual Plan"); and
WHEREAS, the Manager has submitted the Annual Plan for 2018; and
WHEREAS,the Commission desires that the Manager be permitted to enter into short term
licenses for the use of the Deck at discounted rates by entities that have a need for 100 more spaces;
and
WHEREAS, to assure that such licensing of such spaces is in the best interest of the
operation of the Deck, the Commission desires that the Administrator approve any such licenses;
and
WHEREAS, there is a need for Augusta, Georgia officials to use the Reynolds Street
Parking Deck without having to pay a fee for such use.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Commission and it is hereby resolved by the
authority of same as follows:
1. The 2018 Reynolds Street Parking Deck Annual plan is amended by adding a paragraph 8
and 9, to read as follows:
8. The Manager is authorized to enter into leases or licenses for 100 or more
spaces in the Reynolds Street Parking Deck to a single entity at a rate of no less
than $50 per space on a month to month basis, subject to the approve by the
Administrator of the licensee and all rental terms.
9. The Manager is required to provide parking swipe cards or other method
so as to allow the Augusta, Georgia Mayor, Administrator and Commissioners to
be able to park at the Reynolds Street Parking Deck without cost.
All other terms of the Annual Plan to remain in effect.
2. This Resolution shall be recorded in the Minutes of the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission, accompanied by the exhibits referred to herein.
3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
