HomeMy WebLinkAboutTHIRD AMENDMENT TO PARKING MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN AUGUSTA, GEORGIA AND REPUBLIC/NFR&CS PARKING SYSTEM, LP FOR PUBLIC PARKING FACILITIES THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE PARKING MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT PUBLIC PARKING FACILITIES AT AUGUSTA REGIONAL AIRPORT This Third Amendment to the Parking Management Agreement for Public Parking Facilities at Augusta Regional Airport,made and entered into this first day of March, 2018, between Augusta, Georgia, a political subdivision of the State of Georgia, by and through the Augusta Aviation Commission, hereinafter referred to as the "Aviation Commission" and Republic/NFR&CS Parking System, LP, with offices at 633 Chestnut Street, Suite 2000, Chattanooga,Tennessee,37450(hereinafter referred to as "Operator"). WHEREAS, on January 1, 2014, the Parties entered into an agreement for the Operator to manage the public parking facilities located at the Augusta Regional Airport; and WHEREAS,the contract provided for a three-year term with two (2) additional one (1) year renewals upon the mutual consent of both parties; and WHEREAS,the Parties are in the second renewal term of their agreement; and WHEREAS, the Aviation Commission is automating the Taxi Cab/Ground Transportation lot in order to control access; and WHEREAS, the Aviation Commission has requested Republic/NFR&CS Parking System, LP manage and operate this lot in addition to the lots they are currently managing and operating under the current agreement, under the same terms and conditions. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and considerations herein contained, the Aviation Commission and Operator agree as follows: 1. The parties agree, pursuant to Article 12, that Operator will commence the management and operation of the new Ground Transportation Lot effective March 1, 2018. Article 12 shall be amended to add the following scope of work: 12.39: Operator shall operate and manage the Ground Transportation Lot, including the purchase of new equipment and AVI decals to be installed in vehicles, maintenance and repair of equipment, assigning AVI decals to vehicles/companies in coordination with Airport Operations 1 • Department, coordinating entry and exit of delivery vehicles as needed and instructing Airport personnel on use and accessfor vehicles requiring airfield access with an escort. 2. Article 1, Premises, shall be amended to add the following lot : 1.6 1 Taxicab/TNC Lot. 3. Article 5, Monthly Management Fee shall be amended to add as compensation for the additional responsibilities and duties to be performed hereunder, an additional five hundred dollars ($500) each month. Such fee shall be added to the current Management Fee and included in the monthly invoice. 4. Pursuant to Article 4, all monies expended by the Operator on the purchase of new equipment and supplies for the Ground Transportation Lot will be reimbursed by the Aviation Commission. 5. Article 8, Records shall be amended as follows: 8.8 Operator shall collect and record the entry and exit information from the AVI readers and provide monthly reports to Airport Finance Department. 6. Except as amended herein all other terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain the same.
