ORDINANCE NO. 7592
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta,
Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 by amending the following:
Amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for Augusta Georgia by adding to Section
3-A(Outdoor/Street Lighting)the following:
THE AUGUSTA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION II. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance amend the following language in Section 3-A
(Outdoor/Street Lighting):
3-A-2 Applicability
1. All new development/site plans must include information regarding installed street lights
and other outdoor lighting.
SECTION II. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is now amended by adding the following
language in Section 3-A(Outdoor/Street Lighting):
3-A-2 Applicability
1. All new development, site and subdivision plans, must include locational information
regarding street lights and other outdoor lighting to be installed. All street lighting must
comply with the latest edition of Augusta's Street and Road Design Technical Manual and
be installed concurrently with other public utilities.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Duly adopted by the Augusta-Richmond County Commission this 5.44.% day of
