HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7584 CHANGE OF ZONING- Z-17-35_ AFFECTING PROPERTY AT DOUG BARNARD PARKWAY AND FOUR H CLUB ROAD ORDINANCE NO.15? t An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta, Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A(Agriculture)to Zone HI(Heavy Industry) affecting property located on the northeasterly right-of-way line of Doug Barnard Parkway 4,180 feet, more or less southeast of the intersection of Doug Barnard Parkway and Four H Club Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture)to Zone HI(Heavy Industry)as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northeasterly right-of-way line of Doug Barnard Parkway 4,180 feet, more or less southeast of the intersection of Doug Barnard Parkway and Four H Club Road;thence,in an easterly direction a distance of 281 feet, more or less to a point;thence,in a southerly direction a distance of 453 feet,more or less,to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 413 feet, more or less to a point;thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 453 feet,more or less,to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 624 feet,more or less,to a point;thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 855 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 500 feet, more or less to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 133 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 732 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 1152 feet,more or less,to a point;thence,in a southerly Z-17-35 direction a distance of 2878. feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 1183 feet,more or less to a point located on the northeast right- of-way line of Doug Barnard Parkway; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Doug Barnard Parkway a distance of 704 feet,more or less to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 49 acres that is known as 2304 General Perry Smith Pkwy Tax Map 172-0-003-01-0 DISTRICT 1 SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta, Georgia is subject to the following stipulations: 1. Uniform design elements are adopted so each future building is identifiable as part of the airport campus. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
