The following change is hereby made to the contract for the above project:
Description of Change(for a more detailed description see attached proposal):
The initial scope of this project was to repair the north bank of the canal in the vicinity of the 156 Street
Bridge;the project was coordinated with the bridge repair due to the draining of the canal. The bid amount for
the original project was$290,516.67. Once the canal was drained,additional unsuitable material was revealed
in the area of the original work. In addition,previously undetected faults in the canal banks were discovered
behind the City shop,beneath the John C.Calhoun bridge and at the 13th Street canal gates.
