HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7570 CHANGE OF ZONING FROM ZONE R-1C TO ZONE R-C AFFECTING PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST INTERSECTION OF WARREN STREET AND EVE STREET ORDINANCE NO.15 1 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta, Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia"by changing the zoning from Zone R-1 C(One-family Residential)to Zone R-2 (Two-family Residential)affecting property located on the southeast intersection of Warren Street and Eve Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map by changing the zoning from Zone R-1 C (One-family Residential)to Zone R-2 (Two-family Residential) as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southeast intersection of Warren Street and Eve Street, being the point of beginning. Thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southern right-of-way line of Warren Street a distance of approximately 84 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of approximately 62 feet to a point, being on the northern right-of-way of Jenkins Street; thence, in a westerly direction along the northern right-of-way line of Jenkins Street approximately 86 feet to a point,being at the northeast intersection of Eve Street and Jenkins Street; thenc, in a northeasterly direction along the eastern right-of-way line of Eve Street a distance of approximately 95 feet to a point, being the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 0.16 acre and is more commonly known as 790 Eve Street. Tax Map 035-3-293-00-0. v SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
