A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF MAINTAINING THE DOWNTOWN
DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY'S CURRENT ORGANIZATIONAL
STRUCTURE
WHEREAS, the Downtown Development Authority was created and approved by the Augusta
Commission pursuant to Georgia Law; and
WHEREAS, the Downtown Development Authority has been instrumental in bringing to fruition
a number of developments of importance to Augusta, Georgia; and
WHEREAS, Augusta, Georgia is satisfied with the current organization of the Downtown
Development Authority and does not see a need to reorganize it at this time; and
THE COMMISSION OF AUGUSTA, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES that it is in support
of maintaining of the Downtown Development Authority's current organizational structure at this time.
