An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta,
Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all
amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized
under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of
the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R - C (One - family Residential)
to Zone R -1E (One - family Residential) affecting property consisting of 4 tracts located as
follows: Tract A located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Wrightsboro Road
and Thirteenth Street; Tract B located on the southeast corner of the intersection of
Wrightsboro Road and Thirteenth Street; Tract C located on the northeast right -of -way line
of Wrightsboro Road, 231 feet, more or less, northwest of Twelfth Street; Tract D located on
the northwest corner of the intersection of Wrightsboro Road and Twelfth Street; and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R -1C (One - family Residential) to Zone R -1E
(One - family Residential) affecting property as follows:
Tract A
Beginning at a point located on the northwest corner of the intersection of
Wrightsboro Road and Thirteenth Street; thence, in a northwesterly direction
along the northeast right -of -way line of Wrightsboro Road a distance of 175.0
feet, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to a
point; thence, in a southeasterly driectin a distance of 175.0 feet to a point located
on the northwest right -of -way line of Thirteenth Street; thence, in a southwesterly
direction along the northwest right -of -way line of Thirteenth Street a distance of
150.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .59 acres and is
known as 1241, 1245, 1247 and 1249 Wrightsboro Road. Tax Map 059-1- 114 -00-

Tract B
Beginning at a point located on the southeast corner of the intersection of
Wrightsboro Road and Thirteenth Street; thence, in a northeasterly direction along
the southeast right -of -way line of Thirteenth Street a distance of 152.0 feet to a
point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 200.0 feet to a point;

thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 152.0 feet to a point located on
the northeast right -of -way line of Wrightsboro Road; thence, in a northwesterly
direction along the northeast right -of -way line of Wrightsboro Road a distance of
200.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .68 acres and is
known as 1215, 1227, 1229, & 1237 Wrightsboro Road. Tax Map 059-1- 131 -00-

Tract C
Beginning at a point located on the northeast right -of -way line of Wrightsboro Road,
231 feet, more or less, northwest of Twelfth Street; thence, in a northwesterly
direction along the northeast right -of -way line of Wrightsboro Road a distance of 40
feet to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to a point;
thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 40.0 feet to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to the point of beginning. This
property contains .14 acres and is known as 1211 Wrightsboro Road. Tax Map 059-

Tract D
Beginning at a point located on the northwest corner of the intersection of
Wrightsboro Road and Twelfth Street; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the
northeast right -of -way line of Wrightsboro Road a distance of 191.4 feet to a point;
thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to a point; thence, in a
southeasterly direction a distance of 40.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly
direction a distance of 80.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a
distance of 151 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northwest right -of -way
line of Twelfth Street; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the northwest right -
of -way line of Twelfth Street a distance of 70.10 feet to the point of beginning. This
property contains .39 acres and is known as 1351 Twelfth Street and 1203, 1205 and
1207 Wrightsboro Road. Tax Map 059 -1- 138 -00 -0, 059 -1- 137 -00 -0, 059-1- 136 -00-

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
