Sheirffs Office Building Description of Change Pressure 'Blast" the exteriors of the Sheriffs Garage and the Sheriffs Evidence buildings; remove all exterior to the Scope of Work: paint, scale, mold, mildew, undesirable materials; point patch all holes cracks etc.; coat the exterior walls of the two (2) buildings with BASF Thorocoat (colors to be picked by the Owner and Architect); demo and haul off existing metal coping and downspouts and replace with new standard color coping, conductor heads and downspouts. If the work is done prior to the completion of the Sheriffs building then no General Conditions will be added. The Thorocoat system carries a (5) year warranty from BASF and there is a (1) year warranty from Southern Wall systems. Why is this change necessary? The buildings in question are long overdue for maintenance and painting. Someone has stripped the rain water leaders from the building and left them on the ground. The repairs are needed to make the building water tight and improve the overall function of the facilities. By including it as part of the original construction package, it will be coordinated and installed under the supervision of Potts Construction Company. Who requested this change?
