An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Augusta, Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta
Col :mission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from
Zone R -1 (One - family Residential) to Zone R -1 C (One - family Residential) with a
Special Exception to establish a detached patio home development per Section
11 -2(a) of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance affecting property located on the
northwest right -of -way line of Reid Road, 185 feet, more or less, northeast of
Lake Forest Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners
of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is
amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R -1 (One - family Residential)
to Zone R -1C (One - family Residential) with a Special Exception to establish a detached patio
home development per Section 11 -2(a) of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance affecting
property as follows:

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby
repealed.

Beginning at a point located on the northwest right -of -way line of Reid Road, 185
feet, more or less, northeast of Lake Forest Drive; thence, in a northwesterly
direction a distance of 311 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly
direction a distance of 225 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly
direction a distance of 308 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northwest
right -of -way line of Reid Road; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the
northwest right -of -way line of Reid Road a distance of 225 feet, more or less, to
the point of beginning This property contains approximately 1.61 acres and is
known as 1219 and 1227 Reid Road. Tax Map 032 -4- 035 -00 -0 & 032 -4- 040 -00 -0
