HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7365 AMEND BY CHANGING THE ZONING FROM ZONE R-MH TO ZONE B--2 AFFECTING WALLIE DRIVE v L � ORDINANCE N0.�,3 �o b� ' , An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta, Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the west right-of-way line of Wallie Drive, 418 feet, more or less, north of Stephanie Lane; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: �, �y��� � � , B�ginni�r_g at � point located on the west right-of-way line of Wallie �rive, `418 feet, more or less, north of Stephanie Lane; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 776 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 776 feet, more or less, to a point located on the west right-of-way line of Wallie Drive; thence, in a southerly direction along the west right-of-way line of Wallie Drive a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 2.69 acres and is known as 4127 Wallie Drive. (Tax Map 154-0-004-00-0) SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta Georgia are subject to the following stipulation: That the only use of the property be for support parking for seasonal use by the haunted house located on Tax Map 154-0-004-01-0 and 154-0-004-02-0 or those uses allowed in a R-MH Zone. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 16 day of oct � 2012.
