HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7361 BY CHANGING FROM ZONE R-2 (TWO FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) AFFECTING PROPERTY WRIGHTSBORO ROADP ORDINANCE NO. 7 161 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta, Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R -2 (Two - family Residential) to Zone —R -3B (Multiple - family Residential) affecting property located on the south right -of -way line of Wrightsboro Road, 320 feet, more or less, east of the southeast corner of Heard Avenue and Wrightsboro Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R - (Two - family Residential) to Zone — - (Multiple - family Residential) affecting property as follows: 4 SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta, Georgia is subject to the following stipulations: 1) that the only use of the property be a Group Personal Care Home or those uses allowed in the R -2 zone; and 2) 2) that an improved driveway and parking site plan be approved and completed before the Group Personal Care Home may begin operation. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. APPROVED THIS Sept 18, , 2012. ATTEST: Beginning at a point located on the south right -of -way line of Wrightsboro Road, 320 feet, more or less, east of the southeast corner of Heard Avenue and Wrightsboro Road; thence, in an easterly direction along the south right -of -way line of Wrightsboro Road a distance of 84 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 245.11 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 154.77 feet to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 104.31 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 35 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately .58 acres and is known as 2024 Wrightsboro Road.
