Justification for Change
$0.00 $8,800.00
This document shall become an amendment to the contract and all provisions of the
contract will apply.
1. Brief description of the proposed contract changes and locations:
Item New -3 is associated with relocating usable existing mature trees that are located in
the existing short term parking lots to the proposed locations along the west side of
Aviation Way. The original intent was to cut these trees and use new younger trees
along the west side of Aviation Way. The relocated trees will be of sufficient size to
match the tree size of the existing trees along Aviation Way.
2. The sponsor's share of this cost is available from:
The contract modification will result in an increase in cost of $8,800.00. It is the option
of the sponsor whether to proceed with a portion or all of the work.

Existing Tree Relocation Proposal
Mr. Mayfield,
Reeves Construction Company respectfully submits the following price to relocate the existing
willow oak trees on the above referenced project. The existing willow oak trees are located in the
existing parking lots that are to be demolished and the Owner wishes to attempt to preserve these
trees. The removal and planting of these trees will be performed with a large tree spade to ensure
the maximum amount of roots is retained.
Reeves Construction Company requests that two additional calendar days be added to the
contract time to perform this work. This price includes watering the trees for a 2 week period
until irrigation is established. Please understand that every effort will be made to ensure the trees
survival; however, Reeves will not guarantee or warranty the survival of these trees. The new
location of these trees will be determined by Campbell and Paris Engineers.
