An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta,
Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all
amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized
under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of
the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R - (One - family Residential)
and Zone B -2 (General Business) to Zone B -2 affecting property located on the east
right -of -way line of Davant Street, 236 feet, more or less, north of Middleton
Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R - (One - family Residential) and Zone B -
(General Business) to Zone B- 2affecting property as follows:
2. LX-3.3
Beginning at a point located on the east right -of -way line of Davant Street, 236
feet, more or less, north of Middleton Road; thence, in a northerly direction along
the southeast right -of -way line of Davant Street a distance of 300.0 feet to a point;
thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 212.30 feet to a point; thence, in a
southerly direction a distance of 300.0 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly
direction a distance of 214.98 feet to the point of beginning. This property
contains 1 5 acres and is known as 113, 115, and 117 Davant Street. (Tax Map
010 -0- 009 -00 -0, 010 -0- 010 -00 -0 and 010 -0- 011 -00 -0)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
