An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta,
Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all
amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized
under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of
the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone B - (Neighborhood Business)
to Zone B - (General Business) affecting property located on the northwest corner of
the intersection of Wheeless Road and Easy Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B - (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B -
(General Business) affecting property as follows:

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 17 day of April , 2012.

Beginning at a point located on the northwest corner of the intersection of
Wheeless Road and Easy Street; thence, in a westerly direction along the north
right -of -way line of Easy Street a distance of 175.42 feet to a point; thence, in a
northerly direction a distance of 75.43 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly
direction a distance of 175.07 feet to a point located on the west right -of -way line
of Wheeless Road; thence, in a southerly direction along the west right -of -way
line of Wheeless Road a distance of 65 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning. This property containing .28 acres and known as 2225 Wheeless
Road. (Tax Map 070 -1- 049 -00 -0)
