An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta,
Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all
amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized
under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R - (One-
family Residential) to Zone B -2 (General Business) Constitution of the State of
Georgia" by changing the zoning from affecting property located on the east right -of-
way line of Davant Street, 336 feet, more or less, north of Middleton Road; and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R -1 (One - family Residential) to Zone B -2
(General Business) affecting property as follows:

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 1 day of Apr ;1 , 2012.
APPROVED THIS April 17 , 2012.
Beginning at a point located on the east right -of -way line of Davant Street, 336
feet, more or less, north of Middleton Road; thence, in a northerly direction along
the east right -of -way line of Davant Street a distance of 100.0 feet to a point;
thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 213.30 feet to a point; thence, in a
southerly direction a distance of 100.0 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly
direction a distance of 234.30 feet to the point of beginning. This property
contains .49 acres and is known as 115 Davant Street. (Tax Map 010 -0- 010 -00 -0)
