HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7335 AMEND COMP ZONING ORD BY CHANGING THE ZONING FROM ZONE A (ARICULTURE)TO ZONE B-2 (GENERAL BUSINESS) AFFECTING PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTHEAST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF ROBINSON AVENUE 200 FT MORE OR LESS NORTHWEST OF GORDON HIGHWAY � ORDINANCE NO. 7 3 3 5 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta, Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A(Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the northeast right-of-way line of Robinson Avenue, 200 feet, more or less, northwest of Gordon Highway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A(Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business)affecting property as follows: Z. . iZ.. �'C , , Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Robinson Avenue, 200 feet, more or less, northwest of Gordon Highway; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of-way of Robinson Avenue a distance of 620 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 36°55'25" E a distance of 201.05 feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 419 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 35°23'S4" E a distance of 531.45 feet to a point; thence, N 46°12'S5" E a distance of 169.01 feet to a point; thence, S 31°04'41" E a distance of 324.01 feet to a point; thence, S 00°38"25" E a distance of 269.40 feet to a point; thence, N 86°13'47" W a distance of 322.32 feet to a point; thence, S 16°45'49" W a distance of 92.32 feet to a point; thence, S 50°46'30" W a distance of 341.54 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 10.9 acres and is known as 677 Robinson Avenue. (Tax Map 078-0-004-02-0 & part of 078-0-004-00-0) SECTION IL All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
