ORDINANCE NO. 733
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta,
Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all
amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized
under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of
the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-lA (One-family Residential)
to Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) affecting property located on the west
right-of-way line of Fairview Avenue, 560 feet, more or less, north of
Milledgeville Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richxnond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-lA (One-family Residential) to Zone R-3B
(Multiple-family Residential) affecting property as follows:
'2 -1 a- - a. �
� Beginning at a point located on the west right-of-way line of Fairview Avenue,
560 feet, more or less, north of Milledgeville Road; thence, in a westerly direction
a distance of 168.30 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of
63 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 170
feet, more or less, to a point located on the west right-of-way line of Fairview
Avenue; thence, in a southerly direction along the west right-of-way line of
Fairview Avenue a distance of 62 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
This property contains .23 acres and is known as 12814 Fairview Avenue. (Tax
Map 070-1-066-00-0)
SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for Augusta Georgia is subject to the
following condition:
1) that the only use of the property be a family or group personal care home or those uses allowed in
the R-lA (One-family Residential) Zone
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
