WHEREAS, the City Council of Augusta. and Richmond County, Georgia were
consolidated into a consolidated city-county government known as Augusta-Richmond
County by an act of the Georgia Legislature passed in 1995 with the consolidation of said
governments being effective January l, 1996; and
WHEREAS, said consolidated government is now known as AUGUSTA,
GEORGIA and is a political subdivision of the State of Georgia.
THIS INDENTURE, Made as of this ��day of February, 2012 between
AUGUSTA, GEORGIA, a political subdivision of the State of Georgia, acting by and
through the Augusta-Richmond County Commission, as party of the First Part, and the
AUGUSTA, GEORGIA LAND BANK AUTHORITY, as party of the Second Part,

WITNESSETH:
That this conveyance is made pursuant to a Resolution duly adopted on January
/� , 2012, by the Augusta-Richmond County Commission authorizing the transfer and
sale of property hereinafter described and authorizing the conveyance of said property (a
copy of said Resolution being attached hereto as E�ibit "B").
That the said party of the First Part, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten
Dollars and other good and valuable consideration, in hand paid, at and before the sealing
and delivery of these presents, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has granted,
bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell and convey
unto the said party of the Second Part, its successors and assigns, the following described
property to wit:
See Exhibit A, hereto attached and by reference made a part hereof.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said tract or paxcel of land, with all and singular
the rights, members and appurtenances thereof, to the same being, belonging, or in
anywise appertaining, to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said party of the
Second Part, its successors and assigns, forever, in fee simple.
AND THE SAID party of the First Part, for itself, its successors and assigns, will
warrant and forever defend the right and title to the above described property, unto the
said party of the Second Part, its successors and assigns, against the claims of all persons
owning, holding or claiming by, through or under the said party of the First Part.
