An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta,
Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all
amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized
under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of
the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-lA (One-family Residential)
to Zone R-3B (Multiple Family Residential)affecting property located on the /

northeast right-of-way line of Dover Street, 280 feet, more or less, southeast of �

Deans Bridge Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and far other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMNIISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION L That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-lA (One-family Residential) to Zone R-3B
(Multiple Family Residential) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Dover Sfreet,
280 feet, more or less, southeast of Deans Bridge Road; thence, in a northerly
direction a distance of 200.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a
distance of 150.0 to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of
200.0 feet to a point located on the southwest right-of-way line of Lyman Street;
thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of
Lyman Street a distance of 75.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly
direction a distance of 400.0 feet to a point located on the northeast right-of-way
line of Dover Street; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-
of-way line of Dover Street a distance of 225.0 feet to the point of beginning.
This property contains approximately 1.37 acres and is known as 2575, 2577, and
2579 Dover Street and 2578 Lyman Street. (Tax Map 097-1-113-00-0, 097-1-115-
00-0, 097-1-116-00-0 & 097-1-086-00-0)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
