ORDINANCE NO. 7313
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta,
Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all
amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized
under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of
the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A(Agriculture) to Zone LI
(Light Industry) affecting property located on the northwest right-of-way lien of
Peach Orchard Road, 85 feet, more or less, southwest of a point where the
centerline of Byrd Road extended intersects; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION L That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A(Agriculture) to Zone LI (Light Industry)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-way lien of Peach Orchard
Road, 85 feet, more or less, southwest of a point where the centerline of Byrd
Road extended intersects; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the northwest
right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road a distance of 279.0 feet to a point;
thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 194.98 feet to a point; thence, in
a northeasterly direction a distance of 292.0 feet to a point; thence, in a
southeasterly direction a distance of 198 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning. This property contains 1.30 acres and is known as 3703 Peach
Orchard Road. (Tax Map 168-0-014-00-0)
SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta, Georgia is subject to the
following stipulations:
1) the use of the properiy be limited to the light manufacturing associated with a roofing and
light metal fabricator company or those uses allowed in a B-2 (General Business) zone.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
