The following change is hexeby made to the contract for the above project:
Description of Change (for a more detailed description see attachment): Johrtstott, Lasehober, 3nt1
Associates (JLA) was awarded the design of the $utler Interceptor West SS Upgrades Project.
Due to urgent conditions related to flows in the old existing Butler West interceptor, JLA was
requested by AUD to provide Sanitary sewer upgrades needed in the western Butler Creek Basin
area of Augusta-Richrnand County. The project is designed to provide for the installation of new
gravity sewer tnains and forced sewer mains, as well as sanitary sewer lift station upgrades. Due
to changes and upgrades needed for the design, additians to the praject scope, as well as
additional state, local, and federal enviranmental permits, it became necessary for the designer,
JLA, to provide additianal design services to the L'tility Department. Change Order 2 for
Design wa..v approved by Cornmissian on Navember 15, ZO11.
