An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta, Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business affecting property located on the northeast right-of- way line of Washington Road, 500 feet, more or less, north of Lakemont Drive and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and far other purposes: THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighbarhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of- way line of Washington Road, 500 feet, more or less, north of Lakemont Drive; thence, in a northerly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Washington Road a distance of 100 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 140 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 100 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 130 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately .31 acres and is the southern half of 2317 Washington Road. (part of Tax Map 026-2-143-00-0) SECTION II. this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta, Georgia is subject to the following stipulations: 1. That there will be only 6-8 cars on the lot; 2. Only 2-3 employees and; 3. The properiy shall revert to B 1(Neighborhood Business) zoning if the property is sold. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 18— day of 2� r , 2011.
