The requires us to send Section 106 documentation to the State Fiistoric Preservation office for review, comment(s1 and approval prior to the committin� of anv federal funds. We are funding in areas that are already residentially developed. Sole Source Aquifers A Per EPA list, there axe no sole aquifers in Augusta, [40 CFR 149] GA www.epagov/pgwdw/ssanp.html (see attached map) Endangered Species Act � Project site(s) is located in developed area. No [50 CFR 402] potential to affect endangered species is anticipated. (See Site Specific Checklist). Wild and Scenic Rivers Act A There are no wild and scenic rivers in Augusta, GA. (See Site Specific Checklist) HUD ENVIRONMENTAL A There is a foreseeable need for noise abatement STANDARDS and control. (See Site Specific Checklist) Noise Abatement and Control [24 CFR 51 B] Explosive and Flammable Operations A If there are industrial facilities handling explosive [24 CFR 51 C] or fire-prone materials such as liquid propane, gasoline or other storage tanks adj acent to or visible from the HUD-assisted project site, compliance is required with HUD safety standards at 24 CFR Part 51, Subpart C and the HLTD Hazards Guide. The environmental review must evaluate project sites that are located near hazardous industrial operations handling fuels or chemicals of an - explosive or flairunable nature: 24 CFR 58.5(i) or 24 CFR 50.4(k).
