An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Augusta, Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 by amending
Section 2 (Definitions)
THE AUGUSTA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amended by adding the
following to Section 2 (Definitions)
DRINKING ESTABLISHMENTS — drinking establishments (nightclubs) sha11 be a
building that has a seating capacity of at least 40 persons consistent with Section 6-2-51 of
the Augusta Georgia Code thereby regulating alcohol licenses.
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby
repealed.
