An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Augusta, Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 by amending
Section 21-2 (Neighborhood Business)
THE AUGUSTA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amended by adding the
following in Section 21-2 (Special Exception)
d) A Tavern having a seating capacity of less than 40 persons conducted consistent with
Section 6-2-51 of the Augusta Georgia Code thereby regulating alcohol licenses
(excluding dancing and entertainment).
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby
repealed.
