An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Augusta, Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 by amending
Section 21-1 (Neighborhood Business)
THE AUGUSTA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amended by deleting the
following in Section 21-1 (b) (Permitted Uses)
(22) Restaurant, tea room, or cafe (excluding dancing or entertainment)
SECTION II. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amended by substituting
the following in Section 21-1 (b) (Permitted Uses)
(22) Cafe having a seating capacity of less than 40 persons and conducted consistent
with Section 6-2-52 of the Augusta Georgia Code thereby regulating alcohol
licenses for eating establishments.
Restaurant having a seating capacity of at least 40 persons and conducted
consistent with Section 6-2-52 of the Augusta Georgia Code thereby regulating
alcohol licenses for eating establishments.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby
repealed.
