HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7267 CHANGING THE ZONING AFFECTING LANEY WALKER BOULEVARD AND ELEVENTH STREET .�� � ORDINANCE NO. � 26 � An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta, Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-1 C(One-family Residential) to Zone R-3C (Multiple-family Residential) affecting property located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Laney Walker Boulevard and Eleventh Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMIVIISSION HEREBY ORDAIl�IS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983; the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-family Residential) to Zone R-3C (Multiple-family Residential)affecting property as follows: 2.1/• ��. a, ,� .� Beginning at a point located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Laney Walker Boulevard and Eleventh Street; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of Laney Walker Boulevard a distance of 196.00 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 148.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 45.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 42.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 135.0 feet to a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of Tenth Street; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the northwest right- of-way line of Tenth Street a distance of 110 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Spruce Street; thence, in northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Spruce Street a distance of 281.50 feet to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Eleventh Street; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Eleventh Street a distance of 300.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 1.53 acres is known as 1016 Laney Walker Boulevard. (Tax Map 046-4-766-00-0) SECTION II. All Ordinances ar parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 21 day of June � 2011.
