An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta,
Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all
amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning
Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-lA
(One-family Residential) to Zone P-1 (Professional)affecting property located on the
northwest corner of the intersection of Lumpkin Road and Jordan Street; and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMNIISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-lA (One-family Residential) to Zone P-1
(Professional)affecting property as follows:

"• Beginning at a point located on the northwest corner of
the intersection of Lumpkin Road and Jordan Street;
thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-
of-way line of Lumpkin Road a distance of 165.0 feet to
a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of
75.0 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a
distance of 165.0 feet to a point located on the west
right-of-way line of Jordan Street; thence, in a
southerly direction along the west right-of-way line of
Jordan Street a distance of 81 feet, more or less, to
the point of beginning. This property contains .30
acres and is known as 2819 Jordan Street. Tax Map 109-2-
010-00-0)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 1 5 day of MaY , 2011.
