An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta,
Georgia Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all
amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond CounTy
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning
Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone B-2
(General Business) to Zone R-lE (One-family Residential) affecting property
located on the southwest right-of-way line of Greene Street, 124 feet, more or less,
southeast of James Brown Boulevard; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA, GEORGIA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone R-lE (One-
family Residential) affecting property as follows:

� � Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of-
way line of Greene Street, 124 feet, more or less,
southeast of James Brown Boulevard; thence, in a
southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way
line of Greene Street a distance of 49.75 feet to a
point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance
of 176.16 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly
direction a distance of 49.68 feet to a point; thence,
in a northeasterly direction a distance of 176 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning. This property
contains approximately .20 acres and is known as 838
Greene Street. (Tax Map 047-1-212-00-0)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
