HomeMy WebLinkAboutSECOND AMENDMENT CONTRACT BETWEEN AUGUSTA AND EAST AUGUSTA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENTCORP (HPRP) SECOND AMENDMENT Q 0 CONTRACT BETWEEN AUGUSTA, GEORGIA EAST AUGUSTA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, INC. HOMELESSNESS PREVENTION AND RAPID RE- HOUSING PROGRAM (HPRP) This Second Amendment to the Contract executed by and between the Parties on October 1, 2009, is made and entered into on the 31st day of December 2010, by and between AUGUSTA, GEORGIA, (hereinafter referred to as "GRANTEE "), and EAST AUGUSTA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, INC., (hereinafter referred to as "SUBRECIPIENT "). WHEREAS, GRANTEE desires to amend the ORIGINAL CONTRACT to allow for additional funds to be used to serve persons at -risk of being homeless and persons who are homeless in accordance with the HPR Program notice published March 19, 2009; WHEREAS, GRANTEE has determined that this amendment is in its best interest and SUBRECIPIENT agrees to said amendment; NOW THEREFORE, it is mutually understood and agreed by and between the undersigned contracting parties to amend that previously executed agreement as follows: (1) Term II. PROJECT, Paragraph 1, is hereby deleted in its entirety and changed to read: "The Grantee agrees to reimburse the Subrecipient in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars and no cents ($18o,000.00) hereinafter the "Grant" to implement the following project(s): "Helping to Eliminate a Local Problem (HELP) Program" (2) Term IV. COMPENSATION, Paragraph 1, is hereby deleted in its entirety and changed to read: b It is expressly 9 ressl agreed and understood that the total amount to be paid by the Grantee under this Agreement shall not exceed $18o,000. Draw downs for the payment of eligible expenses shall be made against the line item budgets specified herein and in accordance with performance. (3) Term VIII. D. ADMINISTATIVE REQUIREMENTS "Invoicing and Payment Procedures" Paragraph 2, is hereby deleted in its entirety and changed to read: "Subrecipient is expected to request grant funds monthly according to schedule provided by Grantee. 70 percent ($112,000) of grant funds must be drawn down by June 3o, 2011, and 100 Page 1 of 4 • percent ($18o,000) of the award must be drawn down by March 31, 2012. If Subrecipient does not meet the 70 percent goal, the balance of funds will be recaptured and reallocated." (4) Exhibit A, Section I, SCOPE OF SERVICES "Program Delivery", Paragraph 1, is hereby deleted in its entirety and changed to read: "The programs will operate at 1011 12th Street, Augusta, Georgia, Monday through Friday from 9: o0 am to 4:30 pm. Housing related services will be provided annually to 78 eligible program participants with incomes at or below 5o% of the area median income." (5) Exhibit A, Section I.
