HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7220 WILLIS FOREMAN ROAD (2) ORDINANCE NO._ _7220 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta - Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta - Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R -1A (One - family Residential) affecting property located on the northeast right -of -way line of Willis Foreman Road, 1,482 feet, more or less, southeast of Ulm Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA - RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R -1A (One - family Residential) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northeast right -of- way line of Willis Foreman Road, 1,482 feet, more or less, southeast of Ulm Road; thence, S 64 ° 31'05" E a distance of 306.0 feet to a point; thence, N 78 ° 04'11" E a distance of 507.06 feet to a point; thence, S 29 ° 22'36" W a distance of 163.70 feet to a point; thence, S 30 ° 57'29" E a distance of 220.94 feet to a point; thence, S 49 ° 58'29" E a distance of 193.86 feet to a point; thence, N 42 ° 58'04" E a distance of 320.78 feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 688 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 1,000 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 62 ° 28'49" W a distance of 113.59 feet to a point; thence, S 32 ° 18'45" W a distance of 580.07 feet to a point located on the northeast right -of -way line of Willis Foreman Road; thence, N 43 ° 00'48" W along the northeast right -of -way line of Willis Foreman road a distance of 25.87 feet to 2. /0 -?d appoint; thence, N 32 ° 18'45" E a distance of 571.76 feet to a point; thence, N 61 ° 30'29" W a distance of 913.04 feet to a point; thence, N 07 ° 23'25" E a distance of 496.22 feet to a point; thence, N 86 ° 28'18" W a distance of 155.51 feet to a point; thence, N 77 ° 24'29" W a distance of 117.84 feet to a point located on the northeast right -of -way line of Willis Foreman Road; thence, N 04 ° 18'08" W along the northeast right -of -way line of Willis Foreman Road a distance of 345 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 28 acres and is currently known as 2993 and 3031 Willis Foreman Road. (Tax Map 150 -0 -12- 08-0 & 151 -0- 021 -04 -0) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this ,22( day of fae..PJ , 2010.
