RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION APPROVING GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE
GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES FOR
IMPROVEMENTS TO BLYTHE COMMUNITY CENTER
WHEREAS, at the meeting of the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission of Augusta, Georgia, held on 6th day of July,
1999, a motion was made and duly seconded that Augusta,
Georgia agrees to the terms of the contract for a state
grant between the Georgia Department of Natural Resources
and Augusta, Georgia for a grant of financial assistance to
improve Blythe Community Center and to authorize the Mayor
and Clerk to execute said contract in the amount of
$8,000.00 to be effective June 30, 1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the governing
authority of Augusta, Georgia, that the terms and
conditions of the contract between the Georgia Department
of Natural Resources and Augusta, Georgia are hereby agreed
to, that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized and empowered
to execute said contract and any subsequent amendments
thereto on behalf of Augusta, Georgia, and the grant
provided for in said contract in the amount of $8,000.00 is
hereby accepted to be used under the terms and conditions
of said contract, and that sufficient funds have been
designated to assure the acquisition and/or development,
operation and maintenance of the facilities and/or delivery
of services as identified in said contract.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this Resolution has been duly
adopted by the governing authority of Richmond County,
Georgia on the 6th day of July, 1999.

I do hereby certify that the above is a true and

Resolution.
