RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING AN EASEMENT DEED FROM THE
GENERAL AVIATION COMMISSION AND DANIEL FIELD AIRPORT AND
APPROVING PAYMENT OF SAME IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 630
WATER SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmon? County Commission has been petitioned to approve
and accept an Easement Deed from The General Aviation Commission and Daniel Field Airport,
a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, whereby Daniel Field is selling easement to the
Augusta Utilities Department in which to construct a water main, as shown on the plat attached
hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has elected to approve and
accept the Deed; and
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has elected to approve payment
for same, in the amount of$29,165.00; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate for approval and acceptance of the Deed by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission be shown by execution of said Deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved as follows:
1. The Augusta-Richmond County Commission does hereby approve and accept the
Easement Deed.
2. It is further determined that the Mayor of Augusta, Georgia shall execute the
Easement Deed, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
This Resolution shall be recorded in the Minutes of the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission, accompanied by the exhibits referred to herein.
Duly adopted by the Augusta-Richmond county Commission, this 20th day of March
2007.
