RESOLUTION
STATE OF GEORGIA
COUNTY OF RICHMOND
. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Augusta Commission of Richmond County Georgia held on
Iff day ofOccember, 2009 a motion was made and duly seconded that Augusta Richmond County shan
submit a.n application for funding from the Georgia Department of Natural ReSources' Recreationa] Trails
Program in order to complete trails along Butler Creek in the !irea ofPepperidge SUbdivision, mid
WHEREAS, Augusta Commission further states that in the event the Augusta Commission applicatiOn is
reCOmmended for funding by the Department of Natural Resources, the Augusta Commission certifies and
aS$ures that it has the ability and intention to finance 100 percent of the total pl"oject cost and be reimbursed for
80 percent of eligihJccost by the Department of Natural Resources,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Augusta Commission of Richmond County, Georgia
that it shall submit an application for funding from the Georgia Department of natural Resources' Recreational
Trails Program, and that it shall, in the event that the applicatiQn is recommended for funding, take action to
assure that it will finance] 00 percent of the total project cost an~fhe reimbursed for 80 percent of eligible cost
by the Depaliment of Natural Resources.
Read and unanimously adopted in the regular meeting of the Augusta Commission held on i4f:jay of
December, 2009.
