RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION RENAMING "BUSH FIELD" TO THE
"AUGUSTA REGIONAL AIRPORT AT BUSH FIELD"
WHEREAS, the Augusta Aviation Commission has recommended
and approved the changing of the name of Augusta's commercial
service airport from "Bush Field" to ','Augusta Regional Airport at
Bush Field"; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission to promote Augusta for air travel purposes; and
WHEREAS, by renaming Augusta's Airport to "Augusta
Regional Airport at Bush Field" there is a stronger identification
of said Airport with Augusta;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Augusta-Richmond
County Commission that Augusta's Airport at Bush Field shall be
renamed and shall hereafter be known as AUGUSTA REGIONAL AIRPORT AT
BUSH FIELD.
Duly adopted by the Augusta-Richmond County Commission
this 8th day of February, 1999.
