A RESOLUTION
RESOLVED, in order to promote economic development including the creation of new
jobs and the attraction of other related commercial and business facilities to Augusta, Georgia
.
and to increase the tax base of Augusta-Richmond County, the Augusta Commission, as the
governing authority of Augusta-Richmond County, hereby evidences its support of the .
acquisition and renovation of the former Dyro.o-Esselite Plant. (land and building) on Marvin
Griffin Road at Doug Bernard Parkway for re-use as a biomedical facility subject to approval of
appropriate State and local legal counsel and subject to said approval to. guarantee repayment of
up to $3,000,000.00 incurred in the initial capitalization of said facility and secured by said real
estate.
