RESOLUTION
APPROVING AND ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
AND QUIT-CLAIM DEED (EXCHANGE OF EASEMENTS) BETWEEN THE
PROCTER & GAMBLE COMPANY
AND AUGUSTA, GEORGIA
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has been petitioned to approve
and accept the Easement Deed and Quit-Claim Deed between Augusta, Georgia and the Procter
& Gamble Company, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, whereby the Procter &
Gamble Company is quit-claiming an existing easement to Augusta, and Augusta is granting the
Procter & Gamble Company a new easement in exchange, as shown on the attached plat; and
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has elected to approve and
accept the Easement Deed and Quit-Claim Deed;
WHEREAS, it is appropriate for approval and acceptance of the Easement Deed and
Quit-Claim Deed by the Augusta-Richmond County Commission be shown by execution of said
Deed.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved as follows:
1. The Augusta-Richmond County Commission does hereby approve the Easement Deed
and Quit-Claim Deed and agrees to the exchange of easements, as shown on the attached plat.
2. It is further determined that the Mayor of Augusta, Georgia shall execute the
Easement Deed and Quit-Claim Deed, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
This Resolution shall be recorded in the Minutes of the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission, accompanied by the exhibits referred to herein. -I"
