On May 21, 1996, the Commission approved the initial
Resolution to abandon a portion of Jones Street. Apparently, the
Resolution itself was never executed. I am enclosing the original
of this Resolution. I was not sure whether you wanted to initial
this or not due to the fact that this was adopted prior to your
tenure. However, the survey has now been completed and we are
ready to proceed with the abandonment, but need this Resolution
executed. I am enclosing a copy of Linda Beazley's letter
addressed to Mr. Gooding of May, 1996.
I would appreciate your forwarding this on to the Mayor
for signature. Should you have any questions, please give me a
call.
With best personal regards, I am
Yours very truly,
