RESOLUTION
"WHEREAS. the National Recreation Trails Act of 1991 established a Grant Program to
assist communities in the development of trail related projects as administered by the Georgia
Department of Natural Resources; and
WHEREAS, the County of Richmond has been determined eligible to apply for said funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission / Council, State of Georgia, that the County Administrator is authorized and directed
to file this grant application for $50,000, of which Augusta-Richmond County pledges to finance
one half as matching funds, and to provide such additional information as may be required with
respect to Richmond County's participation in this program.
