A RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Georgia Rail Passenger Authority is interested in
holding its October, 1998 monthly meeting in Augusta-Richmond County;
and
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission is
committed to the promotion of economic growth in Augusta-Richmond
County and the promotion of all modes of transportation serving Augusta
and Richmond County;
NOW THEREFORE, the Augusta Commission formally invites the
Georgia Rail Passenger Authority to hold its October, 1998 meeting in
Augusta-Richmond County.
Done in Open Meeting this 1 day of September, 1998.
