RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE
COMMUNITY GREENSP ACE PROGRAM FOR
AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY
WHEREAS, Section 36-22-1 of the Official Code of Georgia established the
Georgia Greenspace Program; and
WHEREAS, Augusta-Richmond County desires to participate in that program and
has created a Community Greenspace Program for Augusta-Richmond County; and
WHEREAS, Augusta-Richmond County's Community Greenspace Program sets
forth its protection goal and the methods and schedule intended to achieve this goal; and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission certifies that Augusta-Richmond County has adopted the Community
Greenspace Program to which this resolution is attached and by reference incorporated it
herein, and that Augusta-Richmond County will diligently pursue the implement of this
program as presented herein.
Duly adopted by the Augusta-Richmond County Commission this 7th day of
November, 2000.
