RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Augusta has participated in the Georgia Community Greenspace
Program since its inception; and
WHEREAS, the Georgia Greenspace Program has enabled Augusta to
permanently preserve quality open space within the Community; and
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has established a firm
commitment to the Community Greenspace program in order to continue to provide a
greater quality oflife to current and future citizens of Augusta-Richmond County through
its preservation and enhancement of natural open spaces; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Augusta is committed to continuing
successful implementation of the Georgia Greenspace Program.
