TRANSMITTAL OF THE SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT
PLAN FIVE (5) YEAR SHORT TERM WORK
PROGRAM, JULY 1998 THROUGH JUNE 2003, TO
THE CENTRAL SAVANNAH RIVER AREA REGIONAL
DEVELOPMENT CENTER.
WHEREAS, the Augusta, Georgia has completed a Solid Waste
Management Plan - Five (5) Year Short Term Work Program July 1998
through June 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Augusta, Georgia certifies that the minimum
public participation requirements (two public hearings were held)
as required by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs Minimum
Planning Standards and Procedures for Solid Waste Management have
been met;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Augusta, Georgia is
transmitting the Solid Waste Management Plan - Five (5) Year Short
Term Waste Program, July 1998 through June 2003, to the CSRA
Regional Development Center for review under the Minimum Planning
Standards and Procedures for Solid Waste Management.
