RESOLUTION
APPROVING AND ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
AND OPTION BETWEEN BORAL BRICKS, INC.
AND AUGUSTA, GEORGIA
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has been petitioned to approve
and accept the Easement Deed and Option between Augusta, Georgia and Boral Bricks, Inc., a
copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and Exhibit B, whereby Boral Bricks is granting an
Easement to Augusta for the Industrial Force Main (Project 50230), for which Augusta will pay
$50,000; and
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has elected to approve and
accept the Easement Deed and Option;
WHEREAS, it is appropriate for approval and acceptance of the Easement Deed and
Option by the Augusta-Richmond County Commission be shown by execution of said Deed and
Option.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved as follows:
1. The Augusta-Richmond County Commission does hereby approve the Easement Deed
and Option, as shown in Exhibits.
2. It is further determined that the Mayor of Augusta, Georgia shall execute the Option
and Easement Deed.
This Resolution shall be recorded in the Minutes of the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission, accompanied by the exhibits referred to herein.
Duly adopted by the Augusta-Richmond county Commission, this 5th day of September
2006.
