RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING AN OPTION AND EASEMENT DEED FROM
ATLANTA GAS LIGHT COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has been petitioned to approve
and accept an Option and Easement Deed from Atlanta Gas Light Company, a copy of which is
attached hereto as Exhibit A, for the Doug Barnard Parkway 16-Inch Water Main Project; and
WHEREAS, the Augusta-Richmond County Commission has elected to approve and
accept said Option and Easement Deed; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate for approval and acceptance of the Option and Easement
Deed by the Augusta-Richmond County Commission be shown by execution of said Option and
Easement Deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved as follows:
1. The Augusta-Richmond County Commission does hereby approve and accept the
Option and Easement Deed.
2. It is further determined that the Mayor of Augusta, Georgia shall execute both the
Option and Easement Deed, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
This Resolution shall be recorded in the Minutes of the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission, accompanied by the exhibits referred to herein.
Duly adopted by the Augusta-Richmond county Commission, this 20th day of May 2008.
