services in connection with the above referenced project.
James G. Swift & Associates proposes to render services in accordance with the
study provided, for a lump sum fee of $9,800.

CAPIT AL PROJECT BUDGET
SAND RIDGE STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Commission-Council of Augusta-Richmond County, Georgia that the following
capital project budget is hereby adopted:
Section 1. The project authorized is to install an adequate drainage system which will collect and control
overland water flows coming from the Crest Drive area. The cost for the engineering portion of this project
is $9,800 which will be performed by James G. Swift and Associates, P.e. This amount is to be funded by
County Forces Drainage account number 55-8081-00-0882 within Special 1% Sales Tax, Phase II.
Section 2. The following revenues are anticipated to be available to the Commission-Council to complete
the project:
Special 1 % Sales Tax, Phase II
$9,800
Section 3. The following amount are to be expended for the project:

Attached is a Capital Project Budget and an engineering proposal
from James G. Swift and Associates in the amount of $9,800 for
the above referenced project. This amount will be funded from
County Forces account number 55-8081-00-0882 in Special One
Percent Sales Tax, Phase II.
The purpose of this project is to install an adequate drainage
system which will collect and control overland water flows coming
from the Crest Drive area. This overland flow is causing" severe
flooding and siltation on residences located on Sand Ridge~eourt.

Approval of the Capital Project Budget with funding and
engineering proposal is recommended.
