Dear Theresa:
We are pleased to submit this revised proposa~ for providing' surveying and engineering in
connection with the,abo.ve referenced project. This revised proposal is based on a system design
to handle a 10 year storrl1 event.
Utilizing existing plans and surveys prepared by Charles T. Alexander for street improvements to
Laney Walker Blvd., James G. Swift & Associates win provide necessary surveying and engineering
services to augment the existing plans with a proposed drainage improvements plan. The scope of
work will be limited to those H'nprovements. shown on the attached exhibit. Any drainage
improvements shown on the existing plans prepared by Charles T. Alexander should be omitted from
the street contract. '

BE IT ORDAINED by the Commission-Council of Augusta-Richmond County,
Georgia that the following Capital Project Budget is hereby authorized:
Section 1: The project authorized is to CPB#326-04-288811018, This change is
for additional funds to address drainage issues within the project limits.
This change is in the amount of $84,000 to be funded by the Phase II,
Recapture Funds,
Section 2: The following revenues are anticipated to be available to the
Consolidated Government to complete the project:
